We believe in clear, transparent pricing. Our weekly fees are based on the room you choose, with an additional charge if higher levels of personal care are needed.
Every enquiry is followed by an individual care assessment so that the total weekly fee is tailored to the resident’s actual needs. We are happy to discuss costs openly with families before any commitment is made.

Rates effective from 1 April 2026. All rooms are fully furnished and include cleaning, laundry, all meals and our activities programme.
Shared large room with garden view and en-suite.
Comfortable furnished single room. En-suite from £1,140.
Spacious en-suite single room. Garden view available at £1,280.
Premium rooms with separate or private entrance. Garden views from £1,565.
Higher dependency or one-off services may attract additional weekly charges, agreed openly during the assessment.
Where a resident requires more frequent personal care or two carers to safely support daily activities, an additional weekly amount is added to the room rate. The exact amount is calculated through an individual assessment so that families know exactly what to expect.
A small number of optional services attract additional charges, billed only when used.
Our weekly rate is genuinely all-inclusive of life at Penhill.
We review fees every six months, normally aligned with the UK government’s spring and autumn budgets. This allows us to respond to inflation, changes to the National Living Wage and any new regulatory requirements while keeping increases as modest as possible.
The April 2026 increase has been held to a rounded 5%, below the full rise in our underlying costs. We always endeavour to give as much notice as possible of any future changes, and we reserve the right to make adjustments to advertised room and additional care rates.
